👋 I'm Michelle!

A NY based 3D animator with over 14 years of experience.

 

Early on in my career, I was fortunate to work with powerhouse previsualization companies like 321 Launch and Edit One to power up my previs, camera, and layout skills. This knowledge armed me with the tools needed to quickly block out and animate a scene, cleanly and efficiently. With these skills, along with endorsements of my colleagues and supervisors, I landed Head of Animation at 321 Launch just five years after graduating from Savannah College of Art & Design.

 

In more recent years, I swiftly progressed from a senior / lead animator to animation supervisor, and finally, associate animation director at Nick Jr.  While there, I contributed to 7 series launch campaigns, the Emmy nominated short "Block Party: Quest for the Golden Cube," and the Promax Gold award winners "Blues Clues & You Launch Campaign" and "Nick Jr's Proud to be Us" DEI campaigns. The latter holds a lot of meaning for me as a first generation 🇵🇭 Filipina-American -- having the privilege of supervising and working side by side our brilliant in-house design + animation team to authentically create an AAPI Heritage Month ident was extremely rewarding and I'm immensely proud.

I hope to continue to work on meaningful pieces alongside incredible talents, or, at the very least, animate a couple more clumsily cute creatures.​​
